"Among other interesting projects, I once transformed some 1940s toile draperies into a comforter cover and bed shams, and a 1930s quilted brocade bedspread into a bedskirt. The results were visually quite original and impressive. Many of my cushions are collages of needlework, new elements, and antique trims. I cannot exactly reproduce any of my designs so I look upon them as original objects, hopefully passed down as heirlooms. I designed and made a beautiful and unique silk damask tablecloth for an embassy in Ottawa. Celine Dion owns several of my cloths, bought for her by a decorator. Margaret Atwood owns one of my cushions." Charlotte Crystal
